CHRIST THE REDEEMERS

Christ the redeemers a statue of jesus Christ  in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, considered the largest art deco statue in the world.

1. The Christ in Rio De Janeiro was named in 2007 part of the new seven wonders of the world.

2. This colossal Christ is 38 meters high and 1145 tons.

3. ln 2011 the statue turned exactly 80 years.

4. The brazilians have it as a symbol of love and brother hood .perhaps this is the position taken well by having Christ with open arms , like a big hug.

5. The monument has been visited by very famous people such as Pope pius Xll , Pope John Paul I I , Albert Einstein, Princess Diana, king Albert I I Of Belgium and Michael Jackson.

7. In 2000 an attempt was made to change it's greenish gray one blue, but in those days there were multiple showers , questions supesticion eventually I leave the same color.
